چکیده

A neural network approach is proposed for the characterization of twisted wire bundles multiconductor transmission lines. The neural network is suitably trained with few cross section configurations to learn the behavior of the per unit length parameters of the nonuniform bundle. The procedure allows a fast characterization of the nonuniform bundles multiconductor transmission lines.

Multiconductor Transmission-Line Characterization: Representations, Approximations, and Accuracy - Microwave Theory and Techniques, IEEE Transactions on

This paper investigates a measurement method that characterizes lossy printed multiconductor transmission lines, its accuracy, the choice of measurement representations, and some simple approximations. We illustrate the method with measurements of a pair of lossy coupled asymmetric microstrip lines.

Wire Diagnosis using Reflectometry Response and Optimization Method

Aging wiring in cars, aircraft, trains, and other transportation mean is identified as a critical security area. In this chapter, a new methodology for wire diagnosis allowing the detection, localization and characterization of the fault in wiring network was proposed. Two complimentary steps were addressed. In the first step the direct problem (propagation along the cables) is modelled by RLCG...

Finite Element Analysis of Five-Transmission Lines Embedded in Four-Layered Dielectric Media

Development of very high speed integrated circuits is currently of great interests for today’s technologies. This paper presents the quasi-TEM approach for the accurate parameters extraction of multiconductor transmission lines interconnect in four-layered dielectric region using the finite element method (FEM). We illustrate that FEM is accurate and effective for modeling multilayered multicon...

Frequency-Domain Modeling and Simulation of Coupled Lossy Multiconductor Transmission Lines

This paper presents a study of modeling and simulation of the lossless and lossy multiconductor transmission lines in frequency domain. This study is based on a characteristics method, which permits modeling the line as a quadripole whose advantage is not to presuppose applied charge conditions in its extreme. This permits it to be introduced easily in the circuit simulators such as Spice, Esac...
